Technology update

So since I last posted, I have gotten a new computer. And it was a pain. It all started when I wanted to update my old computer to Windows Vista to use my MP3 player. To make a REALLY long story short, I had to get new computer. It's been going, but learning a new program like Vista has been a little bit of time consumption. New technology is a struggle to learn sometimes, but I guess it helps us for the most part. It's just a matter of using it for good, not evil.

I agree with you Jesse but unfortunately there are a lot of evil people out there that use computers to do bad things. I bought my computer in 2001 but I think I could use a new I have over used mine but just the thought of have to learn everything new scars me.

I couldn't imagine learning a new system during all of our classes. I have a hard time using the Mac on Tuesday nights. I have Shawn switch it over to windows because I can get around easier. Don't get me wrong I think the Mac is a wonderful system and has lots of bells and whistles, I just don't have the time or patience to use it on Tuesday nights If I won the lottery I would definitely upgrade to it, but for now I will stick with what I can understand and use with little problems.

Jess~
I have heard a lot of bad things about Vista. How's it going for you?? I really don't like all that many aspects of computer technology. I do enjoy email and being able to communicate with people but the programs and things are not as interesting.

You got a new computer! That's a good thing. Your old computer was giving you such grief. I'm not sure if I would be able to take on a huge thing right now such as learing a new computer, the Vista! Wow hats off to you!
P.S.
Cute!!

I know exactly how you feel. We got our new computer yesterday and I have been trying to figure it out. I am pretty proud of myself because I did set it up all on my own. I am really surprised and scared because Vista is so different than XP. There is so much to learn, but it is for the best. Maybe we can help each other out when we get stuck....learn it together!!

Ever since I got my new computer which was the day Vista was released,I have had more work to get my stuff in for school and to send and recieve information. It has helped me to learn new stuff out of necessity. The bummer is that when I listen to the pod casts at home, my Microsoft is the new one and so nothing lines up. I think the new program is sometimes more work than the 2003 versions,
